1. General terms and conditions
These terms apply to Schoffa's website at www.schoffa.com. The website is operated by Schoffa Oy Ab, Pohjoisesplanadi 33, 00100 Helsinki, Business ID: 1983116-2 ("we/us").
By using Schoffa's website, you accept these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them. Schoffa has the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Orders are subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time of placing an order. The applicable terms and conditions are available on Schoffa's website.
Schoffa will not be liable for damages related to the use of the website, unless otherwise required by mandatory legislation, nor for damages due to force majeure events. A force majeur event includes any unforeseeable event or change in circumstances that is beyond Schoffa's reasonable control.
2. Purchase of products
Schoffa welcomes all customers ("you"). The business relationship will be governed by the applicable laws of Finland and the European Union in terms of consumer trade, marketing and advertising.
When placing an order, you must provide at least all the information required for the order.
We will send you an email receipt for your order, where you can check the details of the order. We recommend keeping the receipt for possible future needs.
Schoffa reserves the right not to sell a product at a clearly lower price, if there is a clear and significant pricing error. This refers to a possible pricing error on the website that can be reasonably assumed to be understood by the customer.
3. Data privacy and cookies
Personal data is stored in Schoffa's customer register and is used to maintain the customer relationship.
4. Payment service providers
Payment services are provided by Viva Payment Services Single Member S.A. ("Viva Payments") and Paytrail Oyj. Viva Payments or Paytrail Oyj will appear as the recipient of the payment on your account statement or credit card bill (depending on the chosen payment method) and will forward the payment to Schoffa. Viva Payments is a licensed by the Central Bank of Greece as an online payment institution for payment services in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution license granted by the Financial Supervisory Authority.
Ordered products are delivered either by pickup at our store, to a pickup point close to the customer's delivery address, or as a home delivery. The type of delivery is chosen by the customer, subject to the shipping options available in the delivery country.
We always strive to ship your online store order on the next business day at the latest. We use PostNord and their strategic partner DPD delivery service for shipments. Schoffa is not responsible for delivery delays that are independent of the website's operation.
6. Exchanges and returns
It is very important to Schoffa that you are satisfied with your order. You always have the right to exchange or return a purchased product within 14 days of receipt. If you wish to use your right to exchange or return a purchased product, you can return online-purchased products either by using PostNord's courier service, or by visiting our store in Kämp Galleria. We will charge 8 euros for using the PostNord courier service to cover the return costs.
The purchased product must be in the same condition as at the time of purchase and in its original packaging. Custom-made products do not have the right to exchange or return.
Schoffa will refund the payment without delay.
7. Other terms and conditions
These terms and conditions, as well as any disputes arising from the contract between the customer and Schoffa, shall be governed by Finnish law.
