The process of commissioning a made-to-measure tuxedo begins with the first fitting at our Helsinki Kämp Galleria store. During this fitting, the fabric for the made-to-measure tuxedo is selected from a wide range of options. Our selection includes fabrics from some of the world's finest suit fabric manufacturers, including Loro Piana, Dormeuil, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Solbiati, Drago, Dugdale Bros, and Reda.

At this stage, it's beneficial to discuss the thickness of the fabric, the season, and any preferences regarding fit. This helps the tailor guide the selection of the fabric in the right direction. Once the fabric itself is chosen, the lining fabric for the tuxedo, as well as the colors for buttons and any embroidered initials, are decided upon. Next, attention is turned to more visible details such as the lapel style, the number of buttons, pocket styles, and trouser design. Following this, a trial suit is selected to serve as the basis for constructing the customer's unique pattern, incorporating various adjustments and minor alterations.

When measurements are taken, the production of the made-to-measure tuxedo begins, followed by an impatient wait of approximately 8-10 weeks. Upon the made-to-measure tuxedo's arrival at our store, we schedule a fitting appointment with the customer. During the second fitting, we go through the details and the pattern, making any necessary minor adjustments, which we save in the customer's profile for future orders. Approximately a week later, the made-to-measure tuxedo is ready and handed over to the customer for use.
